So I have been helping Mere out with her kids camps the past few days and phew; remind me to never have 12 kids. Anyways, some of the conversations that I have overheard have been hilarious but the one below was one of my favorites. It was all said in a very matter-of-fact way.
Stu: "Mere! Ask Abe what he did on the way to kids camp today."
Abe: "I went through the sprinklers"
Mere: "Oh is that why you are so wet?"
Abe: "Uh huh. And and and ... I peed."
Mere: "On the side of the road?"
Abe: "No in a bush."
Stu: "Ya because you don't want pee on the tires of your car."
Abe: "Ya!"
p.s. saw eclipse. still deciding how I feel about it.

Post dos.
This is one of those "just got to get it off of me and into cyberspace" type posts. I am being myself dang it. Sometimes I catch myself worrying that if I did one thing or said something it could throw off my "groove" with someone.
Lame. Dumb. Ugh.
I hate when I think that way because I am myself. I am confident in who I am and I like to love people so I'm just going to keep being who I am and who I like to be. I will say what I want. I will do what I want. I will say and do it when I want. Oh and to whomever I want. I will serve and love whomever I want, boundaries should not keep me from serving and loving. Nor will boundaries keep me from saying and doing. So there.
I feel like usually I am pretty good at doing the above mentioned but a few days ago my "groove" ... well it was thrown off and I NEED to get it back. I feel more complete when I can confidently do and say. So here is to getting my "groove" back.
Cheers.
Phew.
I feel better already.
p.s. BF Ash wrote today. Man oh man that girl is in the MTC and I am really trying to be Christ-like and not be jealous butttt I am!! She loves it. I mean really loves it. lakjsdflkjasld;kfjasf, lucky.

NaNa Nation
Just a bit ago our neighbor Peter decided to create NaNa Nation. A series of comic-strip type stories where Nate (NaNa- to those who knew him before Kindergarten) single handedly takes over the world. Example Story- in Peter's own words: "NaNa is on an airplane. Bad guys get on the airplane. NaNa takes off his shirt and starts whipping the bad guys. Then they are gone."
NaNa Nation started while Peter was on a flight and he was trying to come up with good airline names and NaNa Nation happened to be one of the names he came up with. From there an entire NaNa Nation Empire has been schemed up. Currently a TV series is in the works along with water bottles, t-shirts, and toasters. NaNa reassures us that with all the money that is made (revenue is anticipated to be in the millions) each and everyone of his family members will have their own NaNa Nation Mansion complete with plenty of food and a play-place.
Olivia created the above graphic which is currently being used as the official NaNa Nation logo on several shirts being worn through out Eagle. They only cost $10 if you provide your own shirt ;)
So here is my plug for NaNa Nation as the official PR Rep and NaNa's "NaNa Nation Best Girl" .... Join the growing phenomenon- invest in your NaNa Nation paraphernalia today!
p.s. next up- NaNa's own door-to-door sales operation. See you later APX.

Back to Ballet
I'm really trying to embrace this time home. I've heard it a bajillion times... "this will be the last summer you get to..." Fill in the blank because I have heard it. Post mission I will be older (boo!), wiser (hopefully), and I will more than likely have a tinsy more responsibility. So I am told. So when you get all three things together I think that means no more summers at home, right?
As of Monday morning at 9:45 a.m. part of this summer became ballet. Whoa, hey there blast from the past! I have been teaching ballet to mmm 3 to 5 year olds but that just hasn't done the trick to keeping me in shape. After two two-hour classes I have been thoroughly worked over. Every inch of my body hurts. I feel like I have been staying in shape with running, biking, zumba-ing but that all is a bit different than ballet. My butt hurts, my feet hurt, my calves hurt, shall I continue? oh my thighs hurt, my neck hurts. Okay enough complaining but really!
Besides all the hurting it feels SO great to get back to what I love. I had forgotten the feeling of it all. Concentrating on lengthening my muscles, weight placement, balance, flexibility.
Call me a nerd but I love it.
I just wish these jerkfaces were still around!
p.s. love this song= small obsession with English bands as of late.
